Terms of Service

By registering for, accessing, or using the MySchoolIQ platform ("the Service") operated by Nfixa Technologies Ltd. ("Nfixa", "we", "us"), you ("the School" or "Subscriber") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are registering on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

MySchoolIQ is a cloud-based school management platform that provides tools for student management, fee administration, academic results, timetabling, parent communication, and school analytics. Nfixa reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice provided to Subscribers where possible.

To use the Service, you must register a school account and provide accurate, complete, and current information including your school name, address, and contact details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@nfixa.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not create multiple accounts for the same school or share account access with schools outside your registered organisation.

MySchoolIQ is offered on a per-student, per-term subscription basis at ₦1,999 per student per term ("Subscription Fee"). The Subscription Fee covers all features of the platform as described at the time of subscription. Nfixa reserves the right to adjust pricing with a minimum of 30 days' notice prior to the next billing term. Payment is due at the beginning of each academic term. Failure to pay within 14 days of the due date may result in suspension of access to the Service. All payments are processed via Paystack and are non-refundable except as required by applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: - Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or offensive content - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure - Use automated scripts or tools to access, scrape, or collect data from the platform - Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the platform - Use the platform to engage in academic fraud, falsification of student records, or any deceptive practice - Share your account credentials with third parties outside your school organisation Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.

You retain full ownership of all data you input into the MySchoolIQ platform, including student records, financial data, and academic records ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant Nfixa a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Data solely as necessary to provide the Service. Nfixa does not claim ownership of Your Data and will not use it for any purpose beyond service delivery and improvement, as described in our Privacy Policy. Upon termination of your account, you may request a full export of Your Data. Nfixa will provide this within 30 days of request.

The MySchoolIQ platform, including its design, software, features, branding, and content, is the exclusive intellectual property of Nfixa Technologies Ltd. and is protected by applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without Nfixa's express written permission. The Nfixa name, logo, and MySchoolIQ brand are trademarks of Nfixa Technologies Ltd. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Nfixa will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the Service is available 99% of the time, excluding scheduled maintenance and events beyond our control. We reserve the right to conduct scheduled maintenance, which will be communicated to Subscribers in advance where possible. Nfixa shall not be liable for interruptions caused by force majeure events, including power outages, internet infrastructure failures, natural disasters, or government actions.

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Nfixa Technologies Ltd. shall not be liable for: - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service - Loss of data due to factors outside Nfixa's reasonable control - Decisions made by school administrators based on data or insights provided by the platform - Any damages exceeding the total Subscription Fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Either party may terminate this agreement at the end of any subscription term by providing written notice to the other party at least 14 days before the term ends. Nfixa may terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay Subscription Fees. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. Your data will be retained for 90 days post-termination to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties. If resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria, under the rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria) unless both parties agree to an alternative resolution mechanism. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

Nfixa reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the registered school administrator and via a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
